Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)

I know this is a silly thing to focus on, but they skimped out on the tongue of the shoe. The rest of the shoe is a great looking leather option, but then the tongue is this shiny cheap fabric that isn’t even finished, so you see the foam center. I have several Sorel sneakers and none are like this! Geez, charge $20 more and make the tongue out of leather! Also, the shoestrings seem so thin and cheap, like they’ll break after a few months. Is this the quality that we are moving towards? If so, I’ll have to find a new favorite brand.

True to size in length and width. Well padded tongue and ankle area. Cushion instep, but limited arch support which is not a dealbreaker for me. No slipping in the heel area so my low ankle socks stay in place. I like the neutral creme/beige leather upper color. My plan is to mix with jeans and dress pants for an upcoming European trip.
