This shoe is beautiful; it is a dark metallic blue, not a light denim color like the implies. It's very soft leather so it requires no break in time, but also doesn't have the support of other Naots. I can tell it will be the shoe I put on at the end of the day when I travel, but probably not for all day wear.

First the size. They do run a bit big, which was perfect for me, because I actually wear a 7.25, and you can't buy that size! Usually 7's are too small, and 7.5 too big, but these in size 38 (7) were perfect. This shoe was made for my foot. I did have to add a heel cushion because I have a skinny heel, and there was ever so slight movement of my heel when I walked. These shoes came out of the box and I wore them onto the ship to a cruise to the Bahamas. Not a single time did I have foot pain, or blisters, or any breaking in discomfort. They are the softest leather I have ever encountered. I live in these shoes! The arch support is just right, and the shoe is lightweight and oh, so comfortable. These are my favorite shoes, ever. I have a collapsed back, not a single disk remains and these shoes allow me to walk without extra pain. They are also very cute and look nice with shorts and capris and jeans. An added plus is you can replace the insole and you don't have to replace the whole shoe!

Naot Kumara - Most comfortable shoe ever. I have 2 pair, well worth the price. Very supportive footbed and kind of becomes "one" with your foot, yet the soft leather upper allows for all the bumps and bunions. I don't need my orthotics in them because they are so supportive Dressier than tennis shoes. I have had LOTS of positive comments, and I would buy another similar Naot style

Thanks to Zappos' "Notify Me" offer, I was able to snag a pair of these beauties in my size in the steel grey/black combination, which actually looks more like a low-sheen dark denim, very snazzy with blue jeans. This is my fourth pair of Kumara: does that tell you anything about comfort? They're glove-leather soft, require not a moment's breaking in, and cushion your every step. I do appreciate the laces, since the leather's softness means it tends to stretch out some. But day in, day out these are my go-to choice for casual good looks with walk-all-day comfort.

Great working shoes. Very comfortable. I have been through three pairs of these already. I have long, bony and narrow feet, so it is very hard to find shoes that fit right. But these shoes work great for me since I am on my feet at least 8 hours a day. Expensive shoes, but I take it as an investment for my feet. My feet deserve to be comfortable.
