I've been looking for basic business pumps for a while, and was almost despairing when these turned up. They are terrific. The heel is solid and supportive, and it's chunky enough not to get stuck between bricks or cobblestones. The heel height is in the perfect "Goldilocks" zone that most shoe manufacturers seem to try hard to avoid - a true 1.5 inches, which is attractive with dresses and skirts but also comfortable enough for all day wear. (Side note: Why making shoes in this height range is so difficult, I have no idea.) Last but definitely not least, the arch support is excellent for this type of shoe. One of my feet is slightly smaller than the other, but a pad in the toe area takes care of that problem. Two thumbs way up.

These pumps are beautiful. Nice leather. Perfect heel height for my purposes. Length was great. Shoes were comfy wearing around home. But I purchased these to wear for choral performances where I must stand in place for a bit then walk down stairs etc. After about 30 min standing in place, my toes went numb which made walking confidently down stairs a bit dicey. Since I’ve already worn them out of the house, I must keep them but I will be researching some arch supports/inserts to hopefully help.

These fit in my regular size. Was looking for a nude dress shoe that was comfortable enough to wear to a wedding all day. I no longer wear heels, but wanted something that was elegant to wear with a dress. Perfect!

I need more arch support than this shoes has. I am looking for strong arch support and stiff leather. My foot is trying to roll to the inside. I settled on a Dansko shoe. It is not as pretty as this shoe, but it supports my foot better.
