I learned a lesson in my 40s I wish I learned a long time ago- wear good shoes and take care of your feet! Now, it is more important than it ever was to wear a good, supportive shoe, but it is usually a trade off between comfort and cuteness...until now! These shoes are the ULTIMATE in comfort! The pillow soft footbed feels like I'm walking on air, even after being on my feet for 8 hours. Straight from the box they were so cozy and didn't need any breaking in as they fit like a glove. They fit true to size. Support around the foot is excellent. They are made incredibly well and with quality materials. I would have liked to see a little extra arch support as my arches are so high, but because these almost molded to my feet, I couldn't really feel any pain or dropping on my arch. The sole of the shoe is non-slip and great for all types of weather. I feel sturdy on the ground in these and as a somewhat clumsy person, I don't have to worry about slipping. All of the above are great, but the fact that this shoe is so cute and classic is what really got me! These are excellent to wear with jeans, leggings, a cute skirt or dress or a nice pair of dress slacks! The Bone color matches with everything and anything! They have become my "go to" shoe when traveling because they are so versatile. I've finally found the perfect shoe, one that is made well, looks awesome and feels great! Overall 10/10! Nice and comfortable leather loafers. The backs don't cut into my heels, and the bottoms are nice and plush feeling. I could easily wear these all day on my feet without wishing I could take them off. Runs a slight bit narrow across the top of the foot, but there is elastic which I think will loosen some as they are worn more. They also come in a wide width if that's something you need.

I love the shoe but it fits too tight across the top of my foot. This is my problem area. Most ladies will not have that issue.

Okay so I'm a longtime Lifestride fan and usually get all my loafers with this brand. I usually stay in the navy/black/pewter area but this shoe just spoke to me specifically. Like other Lifestride shoes, there's a cushioned layer inside and along the back heel of the shoe. There's comfort, style and affordability - and what more would you ask for?

Nice classy shoe, but very little side support for flat feet.
