Bought these for my daughter for school. One of the buttons fell off the very first week of school. She found the button and I managed to tie it back on, but she lost the button on the other shoe a few weeks later. She never found it so now I have to buy her a new pair of school shoes because the strap won't stay in place without the button. The buttons really should have been stitched in place, not tied on with a tiny piece of leather.

I liked the look of this shoe. I read all the reviews and I noticed twice it was said that the opening where you put your foot into the shoe was particularly tight. I didn't listen and ordered them anyhow. I don't have a particularly wide foot and I don't order wide shoes but I could barely get my foot into this shoe. It was a very tight opening and I therefore returned the shoes.

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)

Loved the uppers on this shoe as it was a combination of nubuck and leather. Could be used to dress up or down leggings, pants and jeans. This particular shoe ran short on me at a size 10N so will try the 11s although my guess a 10.5 would be a better fit. Great looking shoe, nice support and width size was true

I like these shoes and am happy to be able to buy something in a nice brown. I have a high instep and didn't know if I would be able to get my foot into them. They fit well and are comfortable, but I cannot use my orthotics with these. They will be fine for wearing to church or shorter periods of time, but not all day. The leather is nice and thick and the finish is very good. I have started buying Clarks brand shoes exclusively because they are always good quality and almost always a perfect fit. I am hoping that over time they will stretch a little and eventually the orthotics can go in. My cobbler has gone out of business or I would have taken them in for a simple stretching. Very nice shoe and I would buy them again.
