Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)Oh my. I have been wearing Berkies for years ever since a coworker turned me on to them. I love them because they are so comfortable and have the arch and foot support I need, yet are basically flat (not thick wedges that I trip myself just walking).
The point I would like to make is: I normally wear an 8M. That comes to a size 39 according to the Berkie shoe size chart. I have a couple pairs of Birkenstock FLORIDA in size 39N and they fit perfectly. (Have to be sure to get the "Narrow". That is KEY.) I have been wearing a pair of Birkenstock GRANADA size 39N for about a year even though they feel loose and I have to grip my toes when walking. I decided I really must need size 38N in the Granada design but I couldn't afford to switch out so just kept wearing the pair I have. For my birthday I decided to treat myself with a new pair of Granada's in size 38N and just see how they fit. Oh! They fit perfectly! I put them on as soon as I received them and wear them everyday. These are my everyday shoes. :) Sooo...hope this helps someone!

I wore my Granada Birkenstocks for about 9 months when the straps started to wear down and break. Because of how fragile the skinny straps are they wear alot faster than other styles. They were really stylish and comfortable, but overall I would not recommend because they just didnt last like I expected $100 shoes to. Very disapointed.

I didn't choose the comfort sole because I wanted the degree of support and durability I felt the classic style offered. I'm pleased with my choice. The previous pair of Granada's lasted at least 15 years with mostly inside use. When I've experienced bouts of plantar fascitis, I couldn't be happier with the support offered by this Birkenstock. Very comfortable all around and the straps allow for a wonderful degree of personalized fit.

I wore these shoes walking all over Europe, miles and miles a day, and over tons of cobblestones. They were so comfy and supportive. They never chaffed or rubbed and molded so perfectly to my feet. I like the look of these, they feel a little more feminine than the Arizona's. Not super dressy, but okay with a dress or skirt if you are needing comfort. They are lightweight and easy to pack, although I normally wear them on travel days, and with my compression socks on long flights, don't laugh circulation is important :). I want these in every color, seriously, don't wait, just get them!
