The shoe makes a nice appearance. I have a long, flat, skinny foot, and the M width feels good for that, but might be an issue for someone with a true "M" width. The length is right there. I possibly could go up half-size, but don't think it's necessary. Where I have an issue is the comfort. The heel and the arch feel fine. There's not much for the ball of the foot. If there was more support there I believe everything would have all the stars. As it is, I can't comfortably wear this shoe the entire day if I need to do a lot of walking or standing. I've worn them a couple of days, so can't return. I wanted to love it and have heard good things about the brand, but may have to give to my daughter, who has more forgiving feet.

This shoe has changed no longer a toe box where my foot feels comfortable. The insole is harder, and when these shoes first came out, I still have the old ones then I could buy a 10 wide and it fit perfect. The next time i purchased these shoes I had to purchase a 10 1/2 and it is pretty close my toes barely fit with no room at the front. In fact I bought this pair last year and still trying to see how they fit because my big toe is right up front, do not feel as comfortable. Then sent for a pair this year 10 1/2 wide no room at all at the front for my toes, the shoe is too short, I would have to buy and 11 and how can that be, the shoe just does not feel right or fit right. I used to love Vionics but the quality and sizing has changed no longer a roomy toe box. The quality of this shoes is not as it once was, I had to return both pairs.

I can't say enough good things about these Vionics. They are so comfortable, and so supportive, and have a good look for fall/winter or any time (I just couldn't do the white tennie thing when it's snowing). I wore them around for a just few days, and then took them with me for a 3-week trip to Europe. Normally I would have tried to break them in more, but they were already perfect. We walked miles every day, over cobblestones and all kinds of crazy surfaces –– some wet and slippery –– and they did so well. And that's even with my poor feet that usually hurt and swell and give me trouble. Color is great: looks good with jeans, black pants, whatever. Really happy with this purchase!

Sooo happy with these! Ordered my regular size (9W) and they fit like a glove; lots of support and very comfortable. I've worn them all day for the last few days and had no issues. I love the color combo/design, too –- wanted some sneakers for winter and just can't do white sneakers for this time of year, but these are great with jeans. Would give more stars if I could! So appreciate a brand that understands wider feet.

I was very surprised to find that these didn’t require any break in time at all - i put them on & went for a one mile walk with no issues at all. Very comfortable and supportive! Would definitely buy again.
