After reading the early comments for these, I was skeptical about buying my normal size 8.5 but like all Toms Shoes (Alpargatas, sandals, and boots), they fit like a glove for me. Loafers more than other styles have a tendency to be a little tighter for me, but not these. Went ahead with my normal size based on comments from others who wear the same size. I wanted to be sure and write a review in case others had the same concerns.

My daughter wanted these shoes for her birthday. After reading the reviews, she decided to order a half a size larger than her normal size, but they were just too big and I had to return them. I just gave her the money and she really ordered them for herself and absolutely loves them. My advice would be stick with your normal size.

I'm not 100% sold on these to the point where I would give them 5 stars, but I can say that they are the first pair of loafers I've tried that actually work for my feet. No joke, I've tried at least 5 different brands (including all the popular ones like Madewell and Naturalizer), and they've all been so uncomfortable and heavy even when trying multiple sizes. Even tight fits slipped off my heel and gave me blisters. These actually fit well and the sole isn't heavy enough to weigh down the shoe such that it slips off. My only complaint is probably that the heel isn't very high, so the shoe isn't quite as feminine/flattering as I would like, but it's not bad at all and I'm still finding outfits that pair well with them.
