Teva has really cheaped out on these sandals. Returned them the day they arrived. The straps were so short that when they were on, half of the loop side of the velcro was showing. They need to add another couple of inches to the straps and let the consumer cut them to length. I had a $20.00 pair from Walmart that were better made, and cost a third as much. Thumbs down all the way.

Fit spot on. Not nearly as comfortable or well padded as my old Terra Fi's. With each iteration of an item, the quality and comfort go down. The straps do not even have neoprene on them; i.e., the rough color-stitched strap rubs the top of the foot.

Fit seemed true to size. The material for the most part was ok, and looked like it would dry quickly. The arch support was good for me. I ordered these 2 pairs to replace a pair of TEVA that are 10+ yrs old, hoping for the same quality of build, material and comfort. I still love the ability to infinitely adjust the straps to fit everyone personally. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed in the quality of material and build thoughtfulness. They do not have the same padded connections under the triangles that join the straps, and the plastic seemed like it would not hold up to rough conditions. Definitely lighter weight, but not sure that was a good thing in this case. It might be tough to tell from the pictures, but I tried to show these points by putting the new next to the old ones. If you're new to TEVA, I think you'll like them. They still do what you want. It is possible that my expectations were too high, as nothing is what it used to be. They will go back. :-(

My expectations from Teva were met! I wear a 10.5 so I originally ordered a size 11; they weren't way too big but they were a bit big. The 10s fit perfectly. So, that's the only thing to keep in mind, since they do not do half sizes. Great sandal, comfortable, can get wet and will dry.

I purchased my first Teva's 25 years ago. They were the original model. In all those years they NEVER showed signs of wear on the bottoms. I have camped and canoed in them every year since purchase. Eventually the footbed of the sandal tore by the back strap so it was time to get new ones. Not bad for 25 years! After researching the website I decided to upgrade to the Hurricane. They are even more comfortable than the originals! I'm sure these will last just as long. Teva has a great product! If you have never owned a pair, get online and order a pair! They're versatile, look sharp, are comfortable and last forever. What more could you want?
