This is a great mild/warm weather shoe. It's essentially a dressier sandal. You should definitely get one size smaller than what you wear (since you don't really wear socks with the shoe). The shoe (and laces) initially took some getting used to (because I never thought I'd wear boat shoes), but the shoe ultimately grew on me, and I get great use out of it because it is so versatile.

The dark brown color is made in Indonesia, unlike the Sahara color which is made in China (which I purchased last summer). The Chinese made-shoe is of noticeably higher quality. If you look at the pictures you will see that some of the shoes have "sperry" imprinted on the eyelets - it seems that those are the ones of higher quality (though I'm not totally sure). Would recommend ordering a couple different colors to compare.

Best shoes ever! I seriously love these things so much. I can just slip them on and I'm good to go. And they always look good, no matter what. They also last forever. The only reason i got a new pair was because I lost one of the shoes (long crazy night) I was bummed at first about having to get a new pair and they took a couple days to break in but now they are just as comfortable and we I wear them all the time.
