I have been looking for comfortable boot style slippers and found them in the Sorel Nakiska! They are a beautiful gray shade, comfortable easy on/off and have a nice, sturdy sole. Be forewarned about size! Sorel in general runs very wide, this style runs very small! I am a 9 in shoes and wear a 9 1/2 usually in boots. I had to size up to a 10 1/2 for these to fit where my toes didn't touch the end. Now, I wear Smartwool socks with my slippers but even barefoot, the 10 1/2 was my size. So, I recommend going up 1 1/2-2 sizes in this style.

I advise you to pass on these booties. They stretch out a lot especially at the top and become unattractive. My husband refers to them as elf shoes which is not really the look I was going for. Thankfully only my family sees me wearing them. I’ve worn them daily indoors for about 2 months but they look like I’ve owned them for years. They weren’t inexpensive. Big mistake!

I jsut submitted a review for these but forgot to mention something else. The soles were weird. They didn’t feel flat on the bottom. It’s like the are rounds on the sides and didn’t give me a stable base (a long with zero arch support) I didn’t want to keep them.

My feet run very cold and I needed slippers w/support and traction for drafty wood floors. I purchased Sorel Nakiska Bootie, Nakiska II Slipper + Out N' About Bootie all in size 7- my size for Sorel Whitney outdoor boots. With Smartwool socks worn w/each, the Nakiska II fit perfectly and looked great, but my feet were still cold. The Out N' About is cut to jut in at the ankle (see side photo) so it pushed my foot forward and my toes hit the front while walking. This is a shame b/c the faux fur lining was the nicest though I would have preferred the design didn't skimp on the exterior fur in the front which makes them look odd. The bottom was rugged which I liked but it also made them look like outdoor boots. The removable insole had soft faux fur and no tag to rug your foot (see photo), but felt really hard and less supportive compared to the Nakiskas. The Nakiska Bootie was 1/2 size too large and I needed to reorder a 6.5- my actual normal shoe size. The enormous "SOREL" stamp looks awful. The liner looks cheap like a fleece shirt whose fur gets clumped together in the dryer. The tag on the bottom insole rubs 1 foot b/c of how it's sewn so I needed a replacement. I also felt that denim would rub off and discolor the light tan suede so I switched them for grey. However- these keep my feet VERY toasty and had good grip so they won. I really hope the pebbled rubber sole is more durable than it looks and does not crack or come apart at the seams. PS- both Sorel Booties look wide and kind of dorky. I hope Sorel will design something stylish, soft, warm and durable next year.
