These shoes have a fake buckle and the real fastener is Velcro. The toe portion of the sandals was very wide and my narrow foot flopped around, which might case me to fall, so I returned them.

I normally do not like Velcro but this appears to be a wider strap and hope it holds. I do not like floppy sandals . I am very happy thus far

I absolutely love these shoes. The leather is remarkably soft and the footbed is very comfortable. They are extremely attractive in person. I really, really wanted to keep them. Unfortunately, I had to send them back because my wide forefoot was a little too much for these shoes. I think they will fit a normal width nicely, so if that's you, definitely give these shoes a a try.

I can no longer wear heels and was looking for a black summertime shoe. This style is a great combination of trendy and comfortable. I wore them to work and the would also be great with jeans, capris or a skirt. I didn't realize when I ordered them that he buckle was Velcro; the Velcro is so much easier but is very well disguised.

The sandal is super cute, but there is no arch support. The heel has a nice pad that sticks up, but that is the opposite of what I need. I need an indented/molded heel cup to support my heal. With the raised heel cushion my foot moves around too much in the shoe and there is not enough support. If you don't need heel support this is a cute shoe with plenty of cushioning.
