I needed a replacement for my old cork soled Birkenstocks (with almost the exact same strap detail) that recently gave up the ghost after many years of wear. Saw these Skechers (great price too) that looked quite similar so gave them a try. Super comfy springy footbed, great arch support for my very high arches, toe bed nicely accommodates my rather long squarish toes, nice leather straps that are heavy but not stiff. Also - much cuter on than the pictures show. Believe they will work nicely with shorts/pants and casual skirts too. I think they'll be a great walking sandal replacement. My old Birks could do 5 miles a day on vacay and these Skechers feel like they are up to the challenge.

I had to tighten the straps all the way to keep them on. The straps are comfortable against my feet. But these sandals, the footbed, isn't comfortable to my foot with the tightened straps. I wear these and my other Skechers everyday. Work, walking, going out - they are so practicable and comfortable anything I do. One con was the break em in period but was expected and relatively short, so that rocks! great purchase!

Arch was painful on my feet. Ordered these 2 years ago and they were prefect. Wanted another pair because I have worn first pair out.
