These are the most comfortable walk and run shoe I own. I've moved to Hoka's for my regular hikers because I wear out this sole in 6 weeks. A full rubber log sole would make this a world class shoe.

I have acute neuropathy and need a super cushioned shoe to reduce the pain in the soles of my feet. I wore the Hoka brand for years but decided to see if I could find the same comfort level in a less expensive shoe. The Sketcher Max Cushion filled the bill at one-half the price of the Hokas and the style is fantastic. Unfortunately the D width is too snug, so I'm waiting for this shoe to be re-stocked in a wider width.

The shoes are great. Only issue is that they come in blue or black and the blue picture says black and vice versa so I thought I was ordering blue but got black. I still like the shoes.

I had a pair of the first version of these shoes and they were the most comfortable shoes ever. There was plenty of toe room in the extra wide and the sole was like walking on air. The 2.0 version is not the same at all. The sole is much stiffer than the previous version and even though they are extra wide there is not enough toe room. My big toes were crammed in there and it was uncomfortable to walk around in them. This could have been an off pair but I think they just changed the way they make the shoes. If you need lots of toe room, these are not the shoes for you.

I have purchased about 7 pair of the original max cushioning vantage for work. I can't seem to find them any longer in my size. Then I saw the Vantage 2.0 so I gave them a try. I'm sad to report they do not feel the same as the original. They were more narrow and felt about a half size smaller. But the deal breaker was they felt much less cushioned than original. I only hope they bring back the original. I definitely prefer the 1.0 Used for work (retail)
