Breathe-Easy - Good Influence

I am by nature a barefoot girl. Couldn’t wait to take shoes off when I got home. Now in my 70s, barefoot on hardwood floors, outside to mailbox, etc. have become uncomfortable. I bought a grey pair of these to use as summer slippers in the house. Bad back, bone spurs in feet. These were lightweight with just enough support I could wear all day and not be aching later. I have worn them shopping, not enough support for that for me. I bought this pair so I could alternate wearing them. Very glad I found them.

Very comfy, casual shoe for spring thru fall. A little on the large size so can be worn with light socks.

I wanted to like these but even with my wide foot, these felt too wide overall and bulky. If the design was a bit narrower & tapered, particularly, in the heal, I would have kept them for everyday wear. I need a generous toe box but tapering towards the heal would have helped the fit.

I have only worn the shoes inside because it is winter and wet outside but I want to break them in before wearing them on a trip in the spring. The top of the sides and the top of the back don't fold over which was a problem with another style of Skecher. That shoe caused rubbing on my heel which is why I am trying Breathe Easy Good Influence. In the image I have attached you can see how the sides and back of the solid blue shoe curve toward the foot while the sides and back of the speckled blue shoe do not.

The fit was way too generous on these shoes. I have worn Skechers for decades now and they more often than not err on the side of too small. This pair blew that out of the water. The width is fairly wide for medium shoes. Without wearing thicker socks, these wouldn't work.
