This is a tricky shoe style to get right and this missed the mark in a critical way. There is not enough of the actual mule to hold the shoe on your foot. I found the size and width true, but this mule only covers to about the beginning of the arch and when you walk the shoe does not stay on. There is nothing that is going to fix that issue, other than re-doing the style to make it cover the whole foot. The quality and style are really nice, but they were unwearable for me.

These were true to size for me, I ordered my usual 7.5 M and they fit very well. My foot tends to be on the more narrow side of the “Medium” range and the width on these in the toe box is prefect. So someone who oscillates between Medium and Wide shoe widths, may need to consider with the wider option for a more comfortable fit. I love the style and they stay on my feet with no problems, but they are a mule so, yes, the shoe does have the feel of a slip-on when I’m walking. But again, I’ve had no trouble keeping them on my feet. There was a bit of gaping on the sides where the leather begins to taper down. If my foot were a bit wider perhaps this wouldn’t be as noticeable. But I don’t expect a $119 pair of shoes to fit like a $700 pair of shoes, and since the shoes are otherwise very comfortable and I love the look, I’m happy to overlook this small detail. Overall, I love these shoes. The style is adorable and the white color will team well with so many outfits for spring and summer. I find Sam Edelman to be consistent with regard to both comfort and fit. Very pleased with these cute mules.

These are super cute but were a little too flippy floppy when I walked. Also the leather bent at the buckle which I knew was going to leave an ugly crease over time. Returning for a loafer mule that covers more of my foot.

Liked this shoe but runs big. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 depending on the make and style. I ordered both and both are too big. Guess I need a 7.5...???

I got this in black as a quality dupe for Gucci's Princetown. The shoe is elegant and sturdy while feeling lightweight. There is a small ridge inside meant for your toes to grasp. I plan to wear it to work and casual.
