I have bad feet, including a wide foot, arthritis and pronated toe. Several reviews led me to this brand as a good walking shoe. The price was right, it was leather... so I decided to try Propet. The shoes are very cute imo, and I liked dealing with a zipper instead of laces. It felt comfortable out of the box. Unfortunately by the end of the day, my feet hurt. This is not an all day walking shoe, even with my customer inserts. They do not offer enough support for my feet. Also, after several wears I already have some worn spots at the toes. The foot bed liner is also peeling, but that may be due to my professional inserts. I am not sure how well made they are, but hopefully they last for light walking days. I was hoping for a great walking shoe for some upcoming vacations where I can only take one or maybe two shoes. This is not a pair that will go with me for traveling. I will continue searching for a good travel shoe.

Purchased the black suede in a 2E for my teen daughter who is hard to fit (needs high stability shoes that can accommodate her orthotic inserts) and they are perfect! Super cute look, flexible sole, and she can zip in and out of them easily. They come protected with Scotchguard (bonus for suede leather) and says they feel like they give her ankle more support. Because of the added height from the orthotic insert there was a little concern for fit, but this shoe has plenty of room for her foot and she doesn't have to worry about her heel sliding up and down. Lacings help to snug the fit so there is an opportunity to adjust the fit to accommodate sock thickness and a wide foot. They are true to size in the length, size 9 is a size 9, however, no arch support. For us the arch support didn't matter since we had to put in her inserts. But, so happy to finally find a cute women's shoe that can fit a wide foot with orthotics and doesn't look like a men's cross-training shoe, a nurse shoe (no offense) or a geriatric shoe. I ordered her another pair as a back-up! She has fallen arches, a wide foot and has sprained her ankles numerous times, so has resigned herself to think she will wear ugly, high-stability shoes her whole life, but these boots have made her so happy. Hoping you have as good of luck as we have with these boots.

These are amazing! I think I squealed when I opened the box. They are beautiful. I know I sighed when I put them on. Propet understands what VERY wide feet are like. They also understand that even women with Flinstone Feet want stylish, comfortable footwear. And they deliver. I plan to buy more of these. And speaking of deliver(y)... I received these shoes 30 minutes before I got a shipping notification. They got here FAST. This is my first Zappos order (though not my first Propet purchase) and I couldn't be happier. Great prices, great brands, great styles, and, at least for this order free shipping that was faster than a timely email! Any company offering such great products and service has a customer for life in me.

This is the first pair of shoes I've ever bought that felt as comfortable as a sock the second I put them on. I have *very* wide feet just before the toe area, and most shoes will either pinch there or on the bridge of the foot (which on me is high, and high + wide is a shoe nightmare). All shoes are either too large, feel like boats, or need to be worn in before I can feel 'at home' in them. Not these! I usually kick shoes off the second I get home, but I can see myself wearing these all the time, at least until it gets too warm. Off to order a second pair right now!

WOW! Finally an extra wide shoe that fits my foot! Very comfortable. I've had to wear and order size 71/2 EE in all shoes lately whereas I really wear 7EE. These were too long, so I will exchange them for the 7EE. Lots of room in the toebox height, and the width. I have bunions, hammertoes, claw toes, multiple past surgeries, so these shoes are a dream. ONE thing Zappos: these shoes come in a lovely shade of Red and Sand, which are available on other websites. I wish you would carry ALL available colors!
