This is the first shoe that doesn't make getting my AFO into it a royal pain in the kiester! It holds the AFO securely, making putting it on much easier. Also, the laces stay securely tied. I did hsve to go up half a size and select extra wide to accommodate the AFO. Orthofeet also includes some adjustment bits you can add to customize your fit. I can say it's waterproof, too.Planted trees in these; they wiped clean afterwards. BRILLIANT!

These were too large and I ordered another in size 8 1/2 that would have been good...but the shoe materials were not the same as the others...different sole and cut and grommet placement. Please see previous comment on this style. If they had been the same as the others... I would have been very happy. The 8 and 9 ww were great. Not the 8 1/2 ww.

The boot fit very nicely and felt comfortable except for curving in and pressing against the side and outer corner of my big toe. The 6 wide was otherwise long enough, and had good width across my little toe. I need a rounder toe box, one that doesn't taper in quite so soon. There was plenty of room for winter socks . The leather is a nice and supple.
