I fell in love with the color and bought these almost on a whim. They are the best hiking boots I've owned. They were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them up a mountain the very next day and countless times since.

I now have 2 pair of these. I use them daily in the Pacific Northwest rainy/soggy/muddy/constantly wet winters. My feet are warm and dry.

It fit ok but was not very comfortable around my ankle. Also the arch support started before the arch in my foot and felt like a lump in the wrong place.

I found the shoe I have been looking for!! ( and I have been looking for years!) I did order a half size larger and use a thorogood work boot insole.
