Customers Say
Customers find these shoes exceptionally comfortable, well-made, and durable, with one customer noting they're dressy enough for restaurants and town wear. They are sturdy and better suited for walking rather than hiking. The fit receives mixed feedback, with some finding them perfect while others say they're too narrow. The traction also gets mixed reviews.

These Oboz are a very pleasant surprise. They provide fantastic, sturdy foot support when hiking the hard, rocky earth of the Sonoran desert. Their weight is a nice change of pace from my other lighter shoes. It's very easy to slide my old deformed feet in the shoe as the tongue lifts away nicely. It's great to find such a well made hiking shoe at an affordable price.

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)
These didn't work for me. I've been wearing Keens (Targhee II, Voyageur, and PTC Oxford) for years, and hoped these would be as comfortable and a bit more stylish. They were a smidgen shorter than the Keens, and the toe box is nowhere near as wide. Sent them back.

Have worn them walking in town, playing with our dogs in the yard and to church, and they are right at home in every situation. Nice enough to be business casual inthe C suite, but comfortable just about any time and place. I don't use them for hiking in the mountains because I have other boots/shoes better suited for that and I don't want to scuff these up too much. I am confident they would do fine for trail duty as well though.
