Extremely cheap materials and construction. I've had mixed experience with New Balance shoes in the past, but I've never known them to make shoes this shoddy.

Cute shoe but too narrow and half a size short. Also, materials felt kind of cheap. The tongue has an unfinished foam edge that is already fraying.
