These are the most amazing shoes I have ever worn! I am 53 and about 5 years ago the padding on the soles of my feet began to get thinner. When I would go on walking vacations during hot summer months, I began to get blisters for the first time (prior to this, I could walk for miles with no problems at all). I tried every shoe out there - Mephistos, Eccos, Clarks, Pumas, etc. -but nothing worked when walking in Europe on hot days, especially over cobblestone streets. I was the band-aid queen, and by the end of trips my feet would be covered with them. A few months ago, to prepare for a 4 week European trip to England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, and Poland, I ordered a gazillion shoes from Zappos and finally settled on these based on the positive reviews, hoping they would do the trick. I am happy to report that I have just returned from my trip and did not get a single blister or have any discomfort! These shoes were absolutely fantastic! They felt like cushy pillows and comformed to the shape of my feet. I actually looked forward to wearing them every day. I didn't even break them in - just wore them right out of the box! One VERY important recommendation that someone gave me and I am glad I followed - buy smartwool brand peds and put them around the inserts that are inside the shoes. That is, take out the insert that is in each shoe and put each ped around the insert (as if it were a foot) so that the bottom of the ped (the part that would be on the bottom of your foot if you wore the ped) is on the top of the insert so that your foot sits on it when you wear the shoe. This way, if your foot sweats, the smart wool ped will wick away the moisture. Also, the nice smart wool ped provides a cozy and soft base for your foot. As for size, I am usually a size 6.5 and one of my feet is a bit bigger than the other - I took a size 36 in this shoe and it was perfect.

Love look and feel. Ordered two more in same style but different colors. Have bunions, wide feet with narrow heel and high arch and must wear orthotics. Very comfortable for long periods. Strap is long enough for a high arch and feels secure and comfortable. Cute too!

I love them! I bought these shoes 6 weeks ago. I've been looking for a good pair of stylish walking shoes for quite some time. I have never paid over a certain amount for a pair of shoes, but after reading the reviews, I decided to try them. They are worth every penny. It took one good day of walking around in these shoes for them to conform to my footbed, and ever since I have been walking on a cloud. I frequently go into the city (SF) for work and I do a LOT of walking from BART to the office. Our company has 2 offices in SF, several blocks apart, so I frequently walk between the offices several times a day. These shoes are so comfortable and my feet do not get tired, I have never had a single blister, and I'm always glad I wore them. I don't consider this purchase a splurge, but an investment. I highly recommend them.

What a great shoe! have ordered 2 pairs within a week. Have plantar fasciitis and foot doctor recommended this brand. This style is so cute and not orthopedic looking. First ordered the black, wore to work for one day and almost had no heel pain, the shoe molds to your foot like a glove! Is more comfortable the more you wear the shoes, the 2nd pair came this afternoon (only took less than 12 hours to get the shoe) put the shoe on and thought it didn't fit like the first pair, wore around the house and can feel it molding to your foot! Can't believe I have had to spend this much on shoes, but am getting rid of all my other shoes that don't fit, better to have a couple of shoes that are good for your feet, than 10 pairs that cause pain. These are very cute and not ugly and old lady looking, no offense to old ladies as I am one. Please note, run one size smaller than marked -- if you are an 8, order a 7.

I have "problem feet". Very narrow heel, high arch, and wide toes with a bunion! Sounds awful, right? Well, this shoe is comfortable and looks wonderful for everyday. It isn't really sturdy enough for tough jobs like hiking but I have worn it all day and gone to my errands and then on to activities of my grandchildren in the evening with no problems and with style.
