Size and width were fine. But toe box narrowed squishing my toes and the depth of the toe box put pressure on the top of my toes making these show uncomfortable after a few minutes of wearing. Shoe looked good. Heel fit nicely.

I was looking for a hiking shoe rather than a boot, I have sore feet prone to plantar faciitis and wanted a supportive shoe with good grip for outdoor, non-paved, walking/hiking trails. These seem to be light shoes, look good, comfy, and I feel very firmly on the ground/good grip (I just don't want to slip and fall). I have high instep and high arches and these fit very nicely, the length was right for my 8.5 size and the wide width fit right- I am a C width and these are a D width. Sometimes D is too wide and these are just right, so if you wear a D these might not be comfy for you. I could use more support in the arch but these have some which is better than none. Overall, I'm very happy with these, keeping in mind that I haven't hiked in them yet.

The fit was true to size and definitely a wide width. Good arch support. Very comfortable right out of the box--feels like a tennis shoe but with support. What makes these shoes work for me is that I could loosen the laces (a lot) to fit my wide/short foot. It's like a custom fit.

I usually wear a size 7.5 but ordered up to size 8 based on Zappos recommendation. Perfect fit and feel right out of the box. Great arch support and roomy toe box. I wore out my seven year old Moab 2 waterproof shoes and am glad to know Merrell is still making great shoes.

The best shoes just got better. Wore out two pair of the Moab 2s after years of daily use, replaced them with more Moab 2s but now with new larger orthotics had to go to a wide size. Took a chance on the brand new Moab 3 and they’re even better. Supportive, comfortable out of the box, slightly rounder toe box than previous versions and better looking on - when you need a 9.5 wide, it matters. Ordering another pair of the 3s shortly.
