One man's observations and opinion on the Jungle Moc Nubuck: This is a well-constructed shoe made of good materials. It is comfortable fresh out of the box with no chafing, hot spots, or toe crowding. I wear a 7.5 and these are spot-on for size. The Nubuck upper is supple and the footbed-sole provides nice support while retaining flexibility. The tread on the sole is mildly aggressive with lugs approximately 3mm tall. I've noticed over decades that Merrell has not compromised quality and these shoes seem as robust as my 7-year-old pair that continues to provide good service. If you are deciding between the Jungle Moc and the Moab Rover (I have both): Although these two models appear similar in style they differ substantially in design and components which results in a quite different feel. Perhaps the simplest characterization is the Moc is built and feels like a trail running shoe while the Rover is robust akin to a hiking boot. A few readily apparent comparisons show the Moab Rover has a deeply-lugged Vibram© sole with greater lateral (anti-roll) stability due to a design that flares outward rather than the Jungle Moc's sole whose edges round under; the Rover has reinforced upper stitching and more substantial ankle padding. These features make the Moab Rover a rugged and protective but much stiffer shoe. I find the Jungle Moc is a fine, comfortable general purpose knockabout. Highly Recommend.

Great shoe -- so comfortable. I wear them everywhere -- even on 2 mile walks! More comfortable than my slippers! I have a wide foot and the W fit nice -- felt a tad snug -- but loosened right up and was great.

Very comfortable - I purchased this pair of shoes in this color almost 2 years ago from my local large sized shoe store and I love them. They can be worn with any outfit such as jeans and t-shirt, button down shirt and slacks or even shorts and a tank top. I would definitely buy another Merrell shoe again.

I purchased my first pair of these mocs almost 25 years ago from an Eddie Bauer store, and after wearing completely through the soles (literally!) decided to get a new pair. Not disappointed...still the same solid, comfortable, and stylish shoe! Here's hoping they last me another 25 years! Thanks, Merrill!

Greatest shoes ever. That sums up how impressed I am with the Jungle Moc. Easy on, easy off, yet your feet won't slip and slide when wearing them. Comfortable to wear for long periods of time, whether lounging around or out for a stroll. Buy a pair, then get ready to buy another pair just to have in case the first pair is stolen or lost. Yep, they are that good!
