Training
- The Saucony® Guide 18 shoes are core maximum cushioning training shoes that are built for comfort and protection. These cushioned everyday trainers combine soft and responsive PWRRUN foam with exclusive Center Path technology that keeps the foot centered and supported to deliver a best-in-class underfoot experience by maintaining a standard centerline, increasing the height of the sidewalls and building it on a rocker shape to ease toe-off. Their breathable and supportive engineered mesh upper is designed with a lace-up closure. The EVA insole and cotton lining keep your feet cool and comfortable. Offering plenty of soft and responsive PWRRUN foam underfoot for smooth and comfortable miles and ultimate protection, these cushioned shoes have a broad base geometry where the foot sits deep inside a stable platform resulting in an exceptionally well-cushioned ride but one that also provides protection and inherent support.

I could tell from the moment that I slipped on the Guide 18s that they were a keeper. They fit like a soft glove without being too warm. They also have the best arch support of any of the stability shoes that I tried (Hoka Gaviota 5, Brooks Beast GTS 24, and New Balance 860v14 and Vongo v6). The fabric is a bit stretchy, and this, combined with some extra room in the toe box, makes them very comfortable. They also have lots of padding and bounce in the sole.

Have run with these 50+ kms already and I LOVE them. Great for lung runs as they are super comfy and theres a lot of room in the toe area for my wide-ish feet. They are everything BUT a speed shoe. Which is expected as they are meant to be for zone 2 / recovery and long runs!

Great for diabetic feet, Not to tight around the whole foot and the cushion on the bottom of the foot is awesome
