These shoes are extremely comfortable. However, the leather on the toe started rubbing off immediately. They are no so badly torn that I can't even wear them. It's so unfortunate because they feel and look great - especially for a professional setting.

I love this bootie. I had ordered quite a few to try and ending up choosing these ones in taupe. I am so glad I read the other reviewer's comments. I wear a 7/12 and went with a 7 and it fits me perfectly. The block heel is well placed and extremely comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and a very high arch and there is no problem. I might add a slim three quarter length orthotic. The neck of the bootie is slender and looks sleek. The leather is buttery soft and moves with my ankle. So many ankle booties have leather that is stiff and hard and unforgiving when you work but not these. Perfect. The taupe is a great neutral that I can wear with navy, black or even grey. I am a college professor and plan to wear these teaching.

The fit is true to size. Go up half a size if you want to wear thick socks. After further research and reading multiple reviews citing the same issues of quality, I decided not to keep them. The negative comments about the quality were specific and consistent. The wear on the toe after only 1-3 wearings did not look good and was not worthy of the price.

This is a beautiful and perfect taupe and impeccably styled boot. The leather felt and looks more expensive than the price tag (Granted at almost 200 this is not a bargain priced shoe, but you really see and feel where your money goes). I have a wide foot and this was just a smidge too tight, and my plans for this color shoe are more on the comfort end, so very personal issues are leading to a very reluctant return. But I’d recommend seeing these in person, they’re gorgeous.

I found these shoes at a discount store, but in a half size larger than I usually wear (they were 9. I wear 8.5 usually). To help me decide if saving the money was worth the slightly larger fit, I ordered from Zappos in my usual size. I found the 8.5 way too tight on my toes (without socks!) I do not know if the pointy toe accounts for the space needed to fit 5 toes. In the end, I am SO glad to have the size 9, especially because they were half the price! I don't know how people could say they run big.. I found them to definitely run a half size small. I can wear normal sports socks with the 9 and they fit great! The block heel should help with comfort, but have not worn them out to know for sure. Hopefully the leather holds out, unlike some of the other reviews.
