this review is for the color Jazz Pop. I have another pair of premium ribcage straight ankle in a different color. They fit completely differently! The waist is higher on these and I had to size up two sizes from my previous pair. I needed a 28 in these and I'm a 26 or 27 is almost all denim. I didn't end up keeping them.

Almost perfect. These are TTS, and look great. However, on me they are a little too snug in the stomach area, even standing up. For reference: 5'9 140lb, bought size 29. ... I accidentally reviewed these twice b/c I mixed them up with the other Levis I ordered. The other review is incorrect.

These corduroy jeans fit true to size, using a tape measure around your real-life waist. I learned this the hard way. If you are a 26-27, get the 27. Reviews on the Levi's site say these run small; this is the 99-100% cotton fabric content version. Reviews here say these jeans run large, 51% cotton, 47% polyester, 2% elastane. See the discrepancy? As well, with all the lycra and stretch in jeans fabric these days, many women are able to cram into a smaller size than their waist measurement. They are probably not aware of how unflattering they look from the back, with a flattened-pancake uni-bum and fabric creases up the back of their thighs. Get your real size. Don't go by the size of other brand jeans you have. As well, the color wash of these corduroy ribcage jeans is exactly as described, decadent chocolate - red. Not maroon, not burgundy, not purple-ish, just a reddish hue but still brown. Everyone sees color differently, so pay no heed to other's perceptions of the color. I'm writing this review to help someone else avoid the trial and error I experienced trying to get the right size. As it turns out, my true size 27 fit (26 in higher quality brands or with lots of stretch). As described, the legs are straight, and therefore not exactly sexy ... but great for comfort and sight seeing or working all day. Or unless you are 5'9".

do not like high waisted jeans, it's too tight in the stomach and so uncomfortable

I ordered my regular size 27/27 and they were just a bit snug in the waist but fit perfectly everywhere else. If I sized up to a 28 I feel the jeans would be too large overall. There is a slight stretch, so after wearing all day, they seemed to loosen up a bit. I love the jeans and I am a fan of Levis products, but I do feel that their sizing is a bit inconsistent and jeans are not always true to size.
