These slippers from L.L. Bean are the highest quality slippers I have owned. The leather is high quality and the flannel lining looks like it should hold up quite well. I normally wear size 10.5 shoes and ordered size 11 slippers. They were too big and I exchanged them for size 10 slippers which fit very nicely. Initially, the right slipper was a little snug (my right foot is slightly longer than my left) but just wearing them for a couple of hours was long enough for them to get broken in and now they are very comfortable. Being slippers, they do not seem to have any arch support which is fine with me. I'm fairly certain that these slippers will hold up for a long time and they are worth their cost.

These are my favorite slippers on the market, anywhere. Comfortable, great fit, etc., but my favorite part is the flannel lining so it's not as hot-wearing as shearling types.

I bought these for my husband. He has wide feet and these slippers fit. The way these are manufactured, they will last for years. He can step outside with these because the bottoms are well made. You probably could wear these outside anytime (except in snow) if you wanted to.
