One customer mentioned that the hardware (buckle and zipper) are NOT gold. I have a lovely casual LBD with a gold zipper at the neck, that these shoes would be perfect with. Hoping that those who have recently purchased this shoe can confirm that the hardware truly is gold? Thanks

These are the most comfortable work shoes I've had in a long time. I have a high arch, bunions, and a wide toe spread. These don't irritate anywhere. The sole feels soft and comforting; I understand it's been treated to minimize bacterial growth -- great for sweaty feet! The thing I love is that with all this comfort, it's a shoe with nice style and attractive fit. No annoying squeaks or excessive clomping sounds on the hard floor at work either. My only worry is that I will wear this black pair out by putting them on every day. Should I buy the navy, too?

The shoes are a bit stiff right out of the box, so I think I will have blisters the first few times I wear them. Also, the buckle and zipper are not gold, as pictured. They’re more of an ash black metal that blends into the shoe.
