I started with a European size 45 ( US 11), it was way too big. Ordered a European size 44, still too large and upper is stiff. Finally ordered a European size 43, the length was okay but the upper is stiff and "breaks" at the wrong place for me.

Definitely runs large, at least for me. I normally wear a size 11 in all types of shoes. I just ordered a size 9 - 9 1/2.
