I feel it is necessary to share my review as I had an equally negative experience with Hunter (please note Zappos is AMAZING and I love them!). I had the same experience as another purchaser that posted last February, which I unfortunately did not see until now as that was just after I bought mine (December 2018). However, as I believed up until now that Hunter had such a positive reputation I would have questioned that the other purchaser's experience was a fluke had I not gone through the exact same thing myself. When you spend $150 for a pair of rubber rain boots you expect perfection, otherwise just buy a pair at Target! I thought I was making an investment with these for what I believed was a quality product that I would have for a long time, and surely longer than a year. I wore them often and always received compliments on them. I walked to and from work in them and found them to be very comfortable. I wore them in all seasons and weather conditions. After one year of use, when I was walking through a puddle while showing my husband how wonderful they were I noticed that my feet got wet, only to discover that both boots had cracks in them in the same exact spot as the customer from February 2019!! I thought, wow, this is surprising, but never fear, I will contact Hunter and they will make everything right because along with the $150 price tag they also boast on their website how they stand behind their products and give a two year warranty. However, buyer beware!!! After an excessively long time waiting on hold to talk with someone from Hunter followed by sending them proof of purchase and photos of my boots they informed me that my one year old boots were not covered under their warranty! I took excellent care of these boots and did not do anything out of the ordinary with them whatsoever. Their warranty is completely bogus, and their customer service is terrible and non-existent. I asked repeatedly to talk with a supervisor and they would not enable me to do so. And while I would recommend Zappos to anyone I would not recommend Hunter or their terrible customer service to anyone!!! Save your money and buy a brand that truly stands behind their products!

I received clearly used, greasy, dirty, scratched boots. They were dull (the grease marred the "glossy" appearance) and not in good shape. When you spend $160 on boots, you should not be sent someone else's obviously returned (after being heavily handled) pair. The price point on these should be 50% off, minimum. I'm disappointed that Zappos rolls this way.

I bought this boots six moths ago They fit great, look awesome, I was so happy! I wore them maybe 6 times because I Live in Florida I cleaned and store the boots as they said in the care pamphlet. I wore my boots for three days and the boots are cracked and broken is absolutely criminal that, after spending $140, wearing them 6 times, they are ruined. I contacted Hunter and after sending all the pics and the proof of purchase from my credit card is not enough because I don’t have the receipt Hunter's warranty is only good for 6 months (provided you purchase directly from them) so they will Not give you any warranty because you didn’t buy it directly from them and they don’t stand up behind their products because they know that they use bad quality materials and they charge too much. This a a disappointed brand. I can believe how people get all good reviews to and awful product.

I bought these in the high gloss Violet. I LOVE the color and everytime I wear them someone compliments them. I typically wear a 6 &1/2 or 7. The 6 that I have these in STILL has PLENTY of room for thicker socks. I do not have large calves but they fit snugly there so if you have larger calves these are likely not a good choice for you. The only downside is that the gloss finish shows marks very very easily so if you want them to look perfect- this is not the finish for you

I have a 17 inch calf which I guess puts me in the category of "large calves." This boot did not fit. I even sized up a full size, nope. If you have large calves don't waste your time. If you have average calves, size up. If you have skinny legs this boot is for you. But it isn't for me. Back it goes.
