These are adorable -- and very comfortable and comforting. However, the wool wears out in the heel really quickly. I was hoping to wear these for a least a few years, but I will have to retire them in under a year. Seems like they should last longer!

I love the arch support. These are very comfy and of course - adorable. Sadly, they are not holding up well. I bought them less than a year ago and the fabric over the insole is ripping and peeling off. The soles shed long strands of thread. For the price, I expected to have these for a few years.

I splurged on these and have not regretted it one bit. I was sold on the rave reviews of the arch support, and while these won't replace your orthotics, they are way better than the flat insoles of most slippers. Working from home, I wear my slippers a lot, I'm on my feet quite a bit, and I have been wearing these puppies (pun intended) nearly every day for the past two months. Results? Awesome. The labels came off the heel of the insoles, and they've collected a nice sample of dog hair from around the house, but otherwise they are perfect! Cushy, roomy, supportive, non-slippery, warm without causing sweat, and cute as heck. I was worried that I'd step on the rise at the back -- didn't happen. I wondered if they'd stay on my feet when I went up and down stairs -- yes, they did, and well too. I figured I'd start seeing wear around the top where my big toe lifts -- nope. I imagine that if you didn't clip your toenails often, you could tear a hole in the felt after a while, but mine seem nice and thick, durable, and strong after the use I've put them through already. I also worried that the stitching would begin to unravel between the top and the sole -- still good as new. Overall, I'm impressed. I'm tempted to say, though it's still early yet in my book, but my next slippers may well be Haflingers again. For the record, I wear a US size 7.5 to 8, and ordered a size 39, and found them to be a great fit.

I REALLY loved these slippers. I have had them for 14 months now. A pair of slippers that are worn about 3 hours a day should not fall apart especially since they cost $85.00. The thread that holds the top to the sole has come apart. Very comfortable but not at that cost. NOT HAPPY.

I love these slippers! Having tried many styles from fluffy to soft and snuggly, these win over the rest of the pack. The wool is soft, comfortable but hard wearing...the doggie design makes me smile and there is even some support in the soles. Highly recommended!
