I work from home, and have worn this model of slipper from Haflinger for years now. They are my “house shoes” and I wear them daily all day long. I replace them every so many months because they are literally all I wear most days and any time I’m home, which is a lot. I have problem feet, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and nerve damage in one foot. These slippers handle all that and keep my body in alignment. They are not squishy or soft. The are like a wool-lined Birkenstocks, but with more lift in the heel than Birks. They are warm enough without being too warm. My only critique is that the wool does dry out my feet, but I just wear lotion and socks to bed to compensate. The slippers are too good to give up for just that reason. I’m happy to have bought this latest color - the lavender w/hearts is by far the cutest version I’ve ever bought for my years of wearing these slippers. I’ve tried other brands because these are expensive, but these are worth the price because nothing else kept my feet as comfortable.
