I bought these for the form, function, and design appeal. After playing several rounds I'm happy to report they hit all three. Both over the ball and walking the course these shoes surpass my initial expectations.

Form, function, and design appeal are all reasons I purchased these Spikes. And after playing several rounds, they hit all three. Could not be more thrilled with the foot feel while over the ball or walking the course.

I bought this shoe last year in the regular lace version and when I saw the BOA version in the sale listings I had to add to the inventory. I wear a narrow width so I only own Foot Joy shoes. When I see narrow shoes available I tend to add them to the inventory.
These shoes (both styles) are great. Comfortable, unique styling, and perfect fit. I ordered in my normal street shoe size and the fit is perfect.

Lightweight......Discernibly lighter than leather. Waterproof.....well highly water resistant as in not for super heavy downpours. Comfortable and durable. I play 200+ rounds a year that include many walking rounds in Ireland and Scotland.
Why FootJoy does not present this style in it's yearly offerings is beyond me. But I'm more than happy to buy any style that fits, especially in the "last season" price range.
