Fit is meh, description is deceptive as one other has stated. Laces are not elastic. Not sure how this is considered a slip in at all. Definitely will need to lace every time. Not particularly comfortable. I’ve had other Ecco shoes in the past and they were great but this isn’t pleasant. I’ll probably return.

Overall, I like them and the materials seem decent. The midsole doesn't seem rock hard like some Soft 7's in the past few years. The quality control by Ecco, however, was horrible. One of the shoes came with the inside of the tongue partially soaked in some sticky residue, and the stiff internal heel support at the back (which is supposed to help with the slip-in) was partially broken.
Fit true to size for Ecco, but their conversion to US sizes is wrong IMO. I wear an 11 in most shoes and always get an Ecco 44.
