Oh I wanted to love these. The color is gorgeous. The overall shoe was too big everywhere - too wide, too tall (if that makes sense), and it is a heavy shoe. They are cute on and very comfortable but just too big to wear.

I loved the look of this shoe and the actual shoe was sufficiently wide, but the mary jane strap was too short. I have a small, wide foot with a high instep and the strap barely met the buckle. I thought about punching another hole, but the strap wasn't long enough for that even though the shoe itself was comfortable. Sadly I am returning them in both colors (Pink and cherry) I purchased.

The strap was too short and due to this the shoe felt uncomfortable, at least for me. If only the strap was and inch longer I would kept, worn and loved these shoes. But another thing I noticed is that some of the finish seems to be coming off near the buckle. By the way the shoe was wrapped I could tell someone had bought it before so maybe that's why the finish looks the way it does. Anyway, it's a really cute shoe and will be great for someone with a smaller instep than mine. A word to Dr. Marten's: don't skimp on the straps! Most of the negative reviews on DM's own website states this same issue.

I ordered these in 8, I’m always a size 8 (somewhat narrow feet, high-ish arches) and these fit just fine, the leather needs some breaking in, but with even a little walking around my apartment, I could feel the shoes softening.Absolutely gorgeous shoes - pink with a gold shimmer.

The strap on these was comically short and there weren't enough holes in it to secure the shoe on my foot. For shoes this expensive I should not be wondering if the strap will hold if I punch an extra hole in it. Beautiful shoe that would have fit if not for this flaring design flaw.
