I have a slightly wider foot, and these definitely felt snug. I ordered a 1/2 size up (8.5 from my normal 8). These were not easy to take off. The boots are nice, but weren't quite the look I was hoping for.

I ordered these and the shorter (Hello Dolly) version, both a half size larger. These fit perfect with thin socks and are very comfortable, but hard to take off. The pair I received is a very faded light blue denim and rather "blah".
