The boots are warm but clunky. The ankle part is much bigger than to foot and rubs in a weird way.

I purchased these snow boots to replace a 10-year-old pair that was beginning to fall apart. The old boots had a zipper on the side, which I was more used to, so I am trying to remember to hold my leg out straight to zip up the boot. It's a little more awkward, but I get it done. The other problem I have with these boots, and which I have with all snow boots, is that I've never been able to find them in narrow sizes. I am technically a 6N, so my feet are constantly wiggling around in these boots as I walk. I'm usually on snow or ice when I wear them and trying to be careful anyway, but there is no way I could run in these boots if I wanted to, as there is too much flopping around inside the boot.
