This boot was really uncomfortable. The ankle is very tight and there is no zip and very little stretch to put it on. In addition, there is a part around the lower ankle that cut into me and made it impossible to wear.

The boot seems like a quality boot, but there's a hard, stiff seam that rubbed the top of my heel when I walked. I wore the boots around the house for a bit to see if the stiff seam would get more comfortable, but it just felt worse. Even with thick socks, I think that hard seam would be uncomfortable (and cause a blister?). So I returned the boot. I wear a size 10W and they fit very well. They were a little hard to get on, but that didn't bother me too much. Only the seam did.

Ive been wearing the Minx snow boots well over 15 years. Theyve always kept my feet warm but the sole on the previous models didnt have much support and wore down after two years. I could still wear them but I needed more support in my foot once I hit 40. But I kept buying them. To my surprise, This model has a thicker, sturdier sole and Im positive theyll keep my feet toasty and dry in the NYC weather. SIZING: The old style I had a size 7, which ran a bit short for me. They were also very narrow. This time I bought 7.5 wide and the width is great! I wouldnt consider them a true wide. Just a wide for people that gained weight in their legs & feet. I probably could have gotten a 7 wide but I could wear a sock and be comfortable with the 7.5W. I have thicker legs with a 19 calf and these got me just fine. DISCLAIMER: if you have sweaty feet these are not for you! Theyre supposed to keep your feet warm in below zero temps and retain heat. I once thought the boots leaked but it was actually my foot sweating. The boot itself was not wet on the inside.

I typically wear a size 8, regular width. After reading reviews, I decided to order an 8.5 wide width because my feet are on the wider side of regular width. I am so glad I ordered this size, they fit perfectly with thicker socks which is what I wanted. An 8 normal width would not have worked for me, they must run just a bit narrow/small. They are cute and stylish for a snow boot. I was outside during a recent snow storm and they kept my feet nice and toasty. I am very happy with them. They are pretty comfortable for snow boots.

Wonderful comfortable winter boot without too much heavy or rigid "clunk" in the sole. These allow you to feel nimble enough in ice and snow while still offering good traction.
