This is the world's greatest dress shoe. Simple, elegant and extremely comfortable. Do yourself a favor and buy one pair in black and one pair in brown. You won't regret it.

Besides the style and comfort, the color allows for maximum versatility in pairing with clothes. I bought them to wear with dark brown and olive slacks, but found that they work well with grey, navy, and black as well. Too dressy for jeans (in my opinion), but that's okay. Works well with suits or sport jacket and slacks, even dark khakis.

Outstanding comfort and build quality. Suitable for casual use or stylish business (e.g. financial services). Not suitable for events where lace ups / wingtips would be common. Have had the black for 1.5 years and have used for heavy walking. Holds up well, slightly less well that a cordovan but then these get more use.

Fantastic shoes! My fiance loves them but we needed to exchange for a half size smaller than his regular size. They run a little big. Otherwise, very comfortable, light and stylish.

Although the price is a bit frightening, you will not be disappointed with these shoes. Probably the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever worn. I went down a half size since they run a little large. Instantly comfortable...no break-in period needed. Excellent shoes. Much more comfortable than the Allen Edmonds I bought.
