I love the gore tex. I can wear them during winter months and keep dry feet. Support and foot comfort is excellent. On my 7th or 8th paor of Brooks Ghosts..

Incentivized Review
This is my first pair of Ghost 17 GTX, and they are a solid choice for waterproof shoes. They felt comfortable right out of the box on a longer hike and provide good support and ample cushioning for aching feet. I ended up sizing up by 1/2 size for the perfect fit, because the waterproof shoes tend to run slightly tighter than their regular counterparts. Definitely a 5-star shoe!

Was wearing ghost max 2. They were the best shoe ever for my plantar fascitis. The Ghost 17GTX not enough to padding for heel. Got them because they're waterproof. Wish the ghost max was waterproof
