When i put on one of my older Born styles with the seamless genuine leather footbeds and linings i feel luxurious softness and support against my skin and the bottom of my feet, whereas most of the new styles i feel like my foot is wrapped in plastic. The description says microfiber (which is fake synthetic stuff to begin with), but on these the lining looks and feel more like fake leather, not microfiber. The footbed is prickly with all the seems and different materials. The quality of shoe materials has generally gone downhill and unfortunately Born is no exception. These are on the light side and they don't fall off, which is a plus, but i'm debating wether it's worth keeping, trying a smaller size so there's less rub, since the overall feel is just kind of.. meh
