Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)
I first ordered these in my normal size (8.5), which is what I wear in my other Blundstones (original Chelsea boots). I have wide feet and read that the half sizes tend to fit duck feet better. However, the 8.5's were uncomfortable -- holding them up next to my original boots, they seemed shorter and smaller (the top of the boot was uncomfortable and put pressure on my foot). Sized up to a 9, which with socks is almost too big; hopefully they won't stretch a ton. Interestingly, the Blundstone size chart puts the 8.5's at a EU size of 38, and I consistently wear an EU 39. Just to say that I figured the sizing between boot styles would be consistent, but it's not, and the shape of these boots is rounder through the toes than the original Chelsea boots, which might be why the fit is different.
