Purchased based on recomenndation for boots to fit skinny calves. My calves measure 13"; whilst top opening on boot measures 14.5". Way too loose at top and through the calf. Add to this the leather is extremely stiff and looks like plastic so overall look for this boot is a high heel rubber rain boot. If that's your dream go for it.

Didn’t like the heel shape but material and construction were great. Nice width for me; but boot slightly narrowed toward toes (kind of pointy), and I didn’t like that fit as well as another square-toed boot I tried, which had more of a classic block heel that I liked better. Kept the other boots for those 2 reasons.
