First of all, I ordered blue and received black, second, they are overpriced, hardly any arch and felt cheap. So, returned, thanks Zappos for your wonderful return policy

I have many birkenstocks so I was excited to get these. At first I wasn't so sure I would keep them. They weren't quit what I expected. First, I guess unisex fits differently. Eventhough I sized down, they seemed very large. In addition the footbed was flatter than I expected but there is the toe grip. But after adjusting all the straps to a much smaller setting and wearing them for a day, I now love them. I'm thinking about getting another color. I got the gray and they go nicely with everything. You have to give them a chance.

A caveat here; I have yet to find a pair of Birkenstocks that are comfortable for me. I was so hopeful and loved the style and lovely color. However, for my feet, there was little to no/arch support and they were sadly just pain uncomfortable with the “no give” footbed and sole. Oh well…

I love the Birkenstock sole in a cushy format!! However, the fake leather ruins it. It's stiff and unpleasant.

These shoes created an instant stabbing pain in the area just back from my pinky toes (towards the heel, outside area of foot) in both feet. Took two steps and had to take them off.
