I bought these for two reasons: we have sealed concrete floors at my office, and Birks are the only shoes that don't leave my feet aching by the end of the day. And I wanted something a little dressier than Chacos to wear on my days off. Like all Birks, I personally found them very uncomfortable for the first week - and magically perfect as soon as I broke them in. I have medium wide feet, and only buy shoes with a wide toe box for running - but I heard these ran wide, so I ordered the narrow. I'm pleased with that choice. Unless you do have legitimately wide feet, I would make sure to get the narrow size. I thought the large buckles were fun and fashionable and I love the leather. Highly recommend. But think about the width, and anticipate a wee bit of a break in period.

Love the look of the bigger buckles- I? think it helps with making my feet appear smaller lol. Leather Quality seems really nice. The buckles are not plastic, just really lightweight metal- which I? like. I feel like the glue on some of the seams is not a big deal but attached photos for those of you who do. Overall Super cute, hope they last a long time!
