My wife loves the Bernardo Miami sandals! I purchased a pair for her when we were first married (1963). During the years, whenever my wife wanted white sandals she always tried to find the Bernardo Miami. No one seemed to carry them. For our 48th wedding anniversary I decided to see if I could find them again. I found Zappos and they delivered. My wife was thrilled when I gave them to her - she loves the Bernardo Miami sandals! The sandals are very well made and look great. Plan on getting her a pair of navy and a pair of red Bernardo Miami sandals. They may seem to be a bit expensive but you always get what you pay for. They are well worth the price.

Out of the box you can tell these are well made and worth the money. The padding of the foot bed is so comfortable. All that said, they made the heel so narrow that it sits on my foot crooked causing my heel to touch the ground. This to me is a huge oversight for what could have easily been my favorite flip flop.

I ordered this sandal in a full size larger as recommended in reviews. I may have been able to go only a 1/2 size larger but the fit is fine. Although the sandal seems wider in the forefoot than most, that is good for me. My little toes do not hang over the edge!! I ordered a leather flip flop for a few reasons. Synthetics make my feet hot and it's summer! The leather is comfortable and molds better to the foot. These Bernardo sandals are my new favorites.

After 12 summers of heavy wear, my much-loved, go-to Miami sandals in bronze wore out...."Bronze" is sold out everywhere, so I went with the white/luggage as a replacement. Love them! I wear a 6.5 in almost all brands and the 6.5 in these sandals fits perfectly. Not sure why others find them to run small. Size 6.5 is 9.5 inches long and just shy of 4 inches wide (measurement taken on the outsole), if that helps.

So comfortable! Though they are not exactly flattering to the feet (they make the feet look wide). But such high-quality construction and materials. I am so glad I own these. They are the kind of shoes you will go-to every day. I normally wear a 7 1/2 and had to order an 8 in these.
