They work with my turkey legs! These boots are heavenly. They smell wonderful, have a cushy footbed, and look great with a small, but reasonable amount of gaping on my 12" toothpick calves, which makes them perfect for tucking in skinny jeans. The zippers at the bottom are super as you can grab your pants by the ankles and pull them down from the bottom instead of trying to cram them in from the top. Most boots looks terrible on me. My small calves look like sad little rolls of pennies banging around in a couple of soda cans. When Nordstrom sent me an email saying they had narrow calf boots I opened it instantly because I have been waiting 42 years for boots that fit! I viewed their selection and then, of course, went straight to Zappos to actually buy some. Because Zappos rules. Sorry, Nordys! I normally wear a size 8, but Zappos only had a 7 in the color I wanted (natural mechanic), so I took a chance and ordered the smaller size. They fit perfectly! The natural mechanic color turned out to be a lovely shade of light taupe as opposed to the winter white color that they appeared to be on my screen. Gorgeous anyway, but not what I was expecting. I have long toes and cannot wear even slightly pointy footwear, so I was thrilled to find the toe box to be roomy and comfortable. I also have a high instep, so high that I often cannot even try boots on. I have one other pair of boots and some booties, both of which required professional stretching before I could wear them comfortably. Not so with these Bed Stu beauties! My tootsie slid right in, and there isn't even a hint of mashing across the top of my foot! Thank you Bed Stu and Zappos. I have found my Cinderella glass slipper! And it is a big leather boot - which is way cooler.

My Manchester Boots are AWESOME!! I wore them today for the first time, and got compliments everywhere I went! And, as if that isn't enough, the leather is very high quality, and feels comfortable right out of the box. And, the subtle "splash" of red make these boots a tad "sassy". These will be a perfect addition to my boot collection!!! Thanks for feeding my "boot addiction".

Best . Boot. Ever. These boots are high but not over the knee. I thought I was wide calf but I am regular calf in these as the lace up area can be loosened . Getting them on the first few times is hard then no problem. Do not lace to last hole , lace to hole before the top unless you are wearing leggings .The scuffed appearance is awesome to me; it is subtle and will just get better. I am 8 1/2 in most shoes but always 9 in Bed Stu boots. Hope this helps

These are really gorgeous boots! They lace in the back, to customize how tight you need the boot. Sure, they are a little tough to get on, but I used a nylon over my sock and jeans, and that helped a lot. Beautiful color, a deep chocolate that will go with everything! In most shoes I am a size 8, but after reading some reviews I went with a 7½. They fit perfectly and I cannot wait to wear them again tomorrow!
