Smallest 9 I’ve ever encountered- and I’m normally an 8.5 in most brands! The pair I got actually looked like they’d been tried on before (some debris on the soles), so I’m assuming I’m not the first person to find the size off and return them. I’ve found bed stu sizing to be variable based on the style in the past, though. It’s one of those brands where it’s best to order two different sizes at once and return the one that doesn’t fit. BEAUTIFUL though- the finish is very unique. The color is taupe with gray variations and rusty brown/red - added a pic in natural light

Bed Stu makes beautiful shoes: well made, tidy craftsmanship, thoughtful design. They run small. I knew they ran small, so I ordered a half size larger. The length is good but the boot is tight across the top of my foot (medium width shoes typically fit me). It's not painful and I believe the leather will break-in, so I'm going? to keep them bc they're awesome!

This is my second pair of Bed Stu boots I've bought and returned. I LOVE the bespoke look and the quality looks good but, they are very uncomfortable. No padding in the footbed and very little arch support. They do run small, which isn't really an issue as I just bought the next size up. LOOKS five stars, comfort one. :-(

I ordered these boots in 7 and 7.5 because I read reviews that they run small. I am a true size 7 and the 7's were definitely a little snug and 7.5 felt more comfortable, but the color of the 7's were more what I was going for so I kept those and returned the 7.5's. So just be aware that the color leather will vary because they are true leather, but otherwise these are the nicest boots I own now and I love them! Overall pretty comfortable, but yes they run a little bit small.
