These truly are comfortable shoes. They definitely have the fit/comfort part figured out. Their build quality, though, is suffering. At less than two months old, these shoes are already starting to fall apart. For this price, I would hope to get a year, or even six months, out of a pair of shoes - especially considering I'm not exactly running marathons in these things.
I thought I found a brand of shoes I could rely on for years. Unfortunately, this will be my last Anodyne purchase.

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)I wear orthotics so the inner volume is important. Just went for a walk and the shoes are very comfortable. A little loose in the heel, but a trade off for width in the toes.

Though advertised as hiking shoes, they are not durable...AT ALL. I hiked a total of 22 miles and the soles are already worn down considerably, making the shoes useless and dangerous for hiking. Do no buy these if you actually want to go hike in dirt...maybe good for a mall hike?

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)
I am difficult to fit, extra, extra wide at toes, narrow at heel, tall wide last. These seem to fit the bill. Wearing longer and different circumstances may not be as comfortable, as I cannot wear socks. Luckily, I do not hike. Having shoes to vary and switch is my happiness (and my Morton neuroma’s)
